Para aquellos que aún no lo sepan desde hace ya unos tres años estoy haciendo unos calendarios de cosplays de los que me siento cada año más y más orgullosa =^^= Y que están todas esas fotos obviamente en mi galería de deviantart (http://isawa-hiromi.deviantart.com/)

I don´t know if you know it but for more than 3 years I´ve been doing cosplay calendars, and all the years i am super proud of them =^^= All of the photos are in my deviantart, you can see there  (http://isawa-hiromi.deviantart.com/)

La fotógrafa, mi amiga Nines (http://www.facebook.com/nines.fotografia?fref=ts) una artistaza como la copa de un pino, siempre hace un gran trabajo, y año tras año las dos vamos mejorando, ella con su habilidad y yo con mis propuestas de cosplays y mis "habilidades" como modelo XDD

The photographer is my friend Nines (http://www.facebook.com/nines.fotografia?fref=ts) she is a great artist and she always does a great job with me, year by year she always is there for me doing the best with her work and I think that thanks to that i want to be a better cosplayer too =^^=

Este año no ha sido una excepción y estoy encantada con el resultado, así que os traigo una muestra de su trabajo, las primera fotos que ya están en deviantart =^^= Y espero que os gusten! En el futuro las podré todas y las podréis ver en DA pero hasta entonces... tendréis que esperar!! jeje

En esta entrada os voy a contar un pequeño pero friki detalle de nuestra vida como pareja y es... ¡¡cómo celebramos San Valentín!!

In this post I'll tell you a little geek detail of our life as a couple and it is ...How we celebrate Valentine's Day!

San Valentín es una fecha que a muchos disgusta y a otros muchos gusta, está claro que todo el año es bueno para agasajar a la persona que amas, pero este día es uno de esos ¿no? ¿entonces por qué no quedarnos con lo bueno de este también?


Valentine's Day is a day that a lof of people dislike and many other like, for me is something logic that if you love someone you tell that person all the days of the year, but valentinés day is ONE of them, so you can do it too and that doesn´t mean anything bad!! 


¿Porqué es consumista no te gusta? ¿Porqué es un cliché? ¿Porque no es original?
¡¡Pues te vamos a contar nuestra original idea de conjugar lo mejor de este día y despachar lo peor!!


Because it is consumerism you don´t like it ¿??? Because it is a "cliche"???? Because it isn´t original???
So we will tell ya how we do it more origianl and more personal!!

Siiii!! Chocolate!!
Eaadim y yo celebramos San Valentín a lo japonés. No es algo común aquí, es original, hace que me esfuerce por él pero sin ser consumista, no caemos en el consumo de estas fechas y es algo especial y muy bonito.
Nadie nos puede acusar de darle dinero al Corte Inglés y sin embargo agasajo a mi pareja como mejor sé!! con cariño y dulces!!! jajajajaja

Yup!! Chocolate!!!!
Eaadim and i all the years celebrate Valentine´s day like the japanese do. That isn´t normal here so it is original, and that isn´t consumerist! because i do it for him, hand-maid chocolate, so I don´t spend a lot of money only my best shot ^.^ and that´s super nice, i think.
Nobody can say that we are giving money to the big stores haha but i really do the best for him!! Sweets!!! A sweet way of make the day.

¿Y él que hace?? Pues como me parece un precio abusivo lo que se pagan por las flores en esos días, pues seguimos la tradición al pie de la letra, así que el 14 de marzo, en el "White Day" en donde los japoneses chicos devuelven el favor a las chicas él es quien me regala a mi flores, que por cierto las blancas son mis favoritas!!

And he?? Here in Spain men give women flowers, but in this time of the year the flowers are sooooo expensive for that tradition so i prefer to do like japanese in all the party, the 14 of March, the "White Day" is thr day in wich men (japanese men) give women a present like the women do in Valentine´s and the usual present is something white (that´s why the name of the day). Eaadim gives me white flowers which are my favourites, so we two have our presents and not about consumerist!

¿A que es buena idea?? =^^= Es una manera original en esta parte del mundo de celebrar San Valentín con todo lo bueno de este y nada de lo manido =^^=
Lo llevamos haciendo ya seis años y es algo que nos encanta!! Por cierto, tenéis "todo el permiso el mundo" de "coger" esta idea y hacerla vuestras también!! =^^= Porque lo importante es pasar este día con la persona que quieres ¡¡y qué mejor manera que comiendo chocolate!! jajajaja

It is a good idea!! =^^= It is an original way of celebrate Valentine´s day here with the person you love =^^=
We did it for 6 years now hehe and we love it!! If you wanna use this idea please do it!! because it is the perfect way to be with the person you want and... eating chocolate!!! >///< i really love chocolate hehehehe


Y ahora os voy a enseñar mi chocolate hecho a mano de este año!!
Lo he hecho hoy porque mañana no me dará tiempo ya que tengo que estar fuera de casa =^^=
Todos los años suelo hacer una tarta en vez de bombones (para que dure más jeje), pero este año creo que me he superado jajajaja Porque me he vuelto loca y lo he hecho más hipercalórico imposible!!! jajajaja

Vale XD quizás me he pasado un poco jajaja  De hecho ya lo he advertido XD pero es que cuando tengo tantas cosas para decorar se me va la cabeza jajaja Y no ayuda nada que mi "tata" sea más exagerada que yo, así que en vez de frenarme me ayudó a poner más cosas y más XD

¿Recordáis el review que hice a la web Tenshi to Akuma Shop ( http://tenshitoakumashop.es/) ? ( Review anterior: http://cuteanddarkgeekylife.blogspot.com.es/2013/01/tenshi-to-akuma-shop_13.html  )Pues en esta ocasión vengo con una segunda parte o un mini-review más bien =^^=

Do you remember the we Tenshi to Akuma shop( http://tenshitoakumashop.es/) ?? (I did a review here: http://cuteanddarkgeekylife.blogspot.com.es/2013/01/tenshi-to-akuma-shop_13.html  ) so i did another review ´cause i buy a super cute thing there and i want to tell ya the news.

Bueno, pues después de quedar encantada con la sudadera que compré decidí hacerles otro tanto, ya que si me gusta una tienda me fidelizo con mucho gusto =^^= Y en su web hay auténticas monadas!! Ojalá hubieran más de hecho jujuju porque estaría comprando cada dos por tres.

So i really loved it when i bought my hoodie there and i thought to buy more things there, so i did it, because when i like a shop i try to shop there the more i can =^^= and in that shop there are really cute things!! =^^= I wish they could have more and more things ´cause i want to buy more and more haha

Vale, soy tan exagerada que seguramente estéis pensando ¿la habrán sponsorizado? Pues No. ¿Me gustaría? ¡Que pregunta es esa!! jajaja pues claro que si!! jaja cuando te gusta una tienda qué menos jajaja
Pero dejando esta tontería  a un lado, que no es a lo que venía yo a contaros, vamos con el review!

Ok i am easy to chit chat about jerky things like this haha but i promise that they don´t sponsor me anything haha altough i wish it haha not really, but i don´t tell ya all the true haha i wish i could have all the cute things i want to of course hehe So, here we go to do the lil review.

Mini-Review: Tenshi to Akuma Shop

Después de la compra de la sudadera, como he dicho, decidí comprar otra monería y me prendé de una boina con orejas de gato =^^=

I bought in that shop my super cute new hoodie so i saw more things in the web and i decided to buy a cap with a super cute cat ears =^^=

Si, como ya sabéis por mis fotos y mis sudaderas adoro las orejitas juju y ya tengo hasta un sombrerito con orejas de gato, en morado, pero nunca son suficientes!! jijiji Así que me dije, pues vamos allá!!

Yup, you know that i had a lot of hoodies with ears because i REALLY LOVE THEM huhu and i have another cap with ears!! but i want mooooreee!!! hahaha so...

Con respecto a la calidad de la boina tengo que decir que es muy buena, nada de malos materiales ni nada que te diga "es de los chinos" jajaja. El precio es algo caro, ok? peeeero uno tiene que tener en cuenta que no todo se compra en los chinos, que las exportaciones son caras y que, por el amor de Dios! tienen que hacer negocio! Así que, la verdad, por una tienda así no me importa que "yo piense" que es un poco caro, porque además una cosa que hay que tener muy en cuenta con los precios son las modas, y estas boinas están muy de moda últimamente (han salido en revistas gyarus y todo), así que eso suele ser igual a que el precio se encarezca, por eso mismo no digo que sea caro porque la web así lo quiera sino porque las tendencias son lo que tienen.

Talking about the quality of the beret I have to say that it is very good, no bad materials or anything to tell you "is a bad copy" lol. The price is expensive, ok? buuuuut you have to keep in mind that not everything can be bought in the Chinese stores, the exports are expensive sometimes and, for the love of God! they have to do their business! So, ok, this store really worth it! and you have to think another thing... this kind of beret is suuuuuper trendy! When something is trendy is more expensive, and you can see this kind of beret in magazines too, in gyarus magazines for example. So you have to think that you are paying a fashionable thing too. So the price isn´t as expensive as you think in the first moment.

Pero la verdad es que es algo que no te da por pensar cuando la tienes puesta *^* sólo puedes pensar que menos mal que te ha llegado jajaja ¿Queréis ver mi nuevo somrebrerito? Pues aquí está =^^=

But if i tell ya the true is that you don´t think in prices when you have it *^*^you only can think that is the cutest beret in  the world XD Do you wanna see it?? Ok! =^^=

Por cierto, otra cosa que me gustó mucho es que me mandaron por la primera compra unos regalillos por Navidad, es una tontería, pero mira, esta clase de detalles me ganan, porque no cuesta "nada" como quien dice y les separa de otras tiendas, mirar que monadas!

Ah!! and i tell ya that i love this shop, don´t I? it is for this kind of things, they sent me some presents in Christmass time for be a good buyer! this is a stupid thing and they don´t do a lot of effort but this kind of things really show the good qualities of a seller, so i love it! Here you can see the lil presents they gave me!

Pues nada, este ha sido mi pequeño review de mi nueva adquisición de esta tienda! Espero que os haya gustado y que os paséis a ver lo que hay en esta, pues cada semana es nuevo y es stock limitado, así que si algo te guste no dudes demasiado!!

Hola a todos!!! Bienvenidos una vez más a Cute and Dark Geeky Life!!! Les habla Hiromi =^^=

Hi all! Welcome once again to Geeky Life Cute and Dark! This is Hiromi = ^ ^ =

En una entrada anterior os hablé del gusto particular que Eaadim y yo tenemos de hacer "nuestros" los personajes de los que nos cosplayeamos. 

No se trata de rehacerlos, ni tan siquiera de innovar tanto que se hagan irreconocibles, somos más bien fans de meter "guiños" frikis de creatividad en nuestras obras en espacios donde los "grises" y el poder de creación del cosplayer es más marcado, sobretodo.... en los relieves!! XD

In a previous post I spoke about our special taste that Eaadim and I have to do the characters in which we work to do the cosplay of them.

It is not like we want to remake them, not even to innovate so they become unrecognizable, we are fan to do "winks" geeks of creativity in our work, in the spaces of the costume where all the details aren´t clear and you can have the power of create your little part in them.

No sé porqué pero es así!

En 2010, el segundo año que Eaadim se vistió conmigo comenzó esta tradición de tratar de meter algo nuestros siempre que pensáramos que nos gustaría más de aquella manera, y comenzamos haciendo eso con el cosplay de Raphael de Soul Calibur.

I´m Not sure why we are like this but we are.

In 2010, the second year that Eaadim and I did cosplay together, began this tradition of trying to do the things like we really like it, so we started to do that in the cosplay of Raphael of the videogame Soul Calibur.

Y ahora es cuando vienen los pequeños guiños juju

Para empezar en la parte de la guarda de arriba podemos ver una especie de diseño que se asemeja a una máscara, la inventamos pero la hicimos en honor al videojuego Patapón, del que somos fan, debido a que en este te puedes encontrar máscaras parecidas o escudos con este tipo de motivos. Fue nuestro guiño a esta saga jur 

Y la guarda del empeine posee claramente una R, que es la primera letra de mis apellidos XD

¿Y por qué una letra mía?? Porque ese año esas piezas las hice yo en su mayoría XDD

Por cierto, eramos muy inexpertos aún en esa clase de cosas, pero no veas cómo nos la apañamos con masilla de modelismo de la que venden en los chinos y que sirve para los niños XDD Básicamente están hechas con eso y con una base real XDD

And now is when you can see the little winks huhu

First, we start in the top of the leg armor, you can see a kind of design that resembles a mask, we invented it after the game Patapon (we are FAN of the game hehe) because in this game you can find similar masks or shields with such motives. It was our tribute to this saga huhu

And then, in the next armor of the leg you can see clearly a R, which is the first letter of my family name XD

And why my letter? Because that year those pieces was maden mostly by me XDD

By the way, we were still very inexperienced in that sort of thing, but we used our imagination and worked with modeling putty that you can buy in a craft store XDD Basically that putty is that kind that children use to play hahaha

Y en honor al juego de rol de Séptimo Mar, el preferido de Eaadim y mi segundo preferido no pudimos evitar hacer una referencia, debido a que Rapahel es un espadachín.
Así pues, con más cara que espalda pusimos la cruz "vaticana" que sería como la cruz cristiana nuestra en aquel mundo, en otra de las guardas.


And in honor of the RPG Seventh Sea, the favorite of Eaadim and my second favorite, we couldn´t avoid making a reference, because Raphael is a swordsman.
Therefore we put the cross of the Church of the game, the "vatican" (that is more less like the Christian in our real world) in an armor of her arms

Otra referencia en el mismo traje está en la máscara que Eaadim tenía puesta. Los ojos tenían símbolos similares al Ojo de Horus, que es el símbolo que lleva pintado mi propio personaje de rol de Séptimo Mar, así que Eaadim pensó que sería otro guiño en nuestro propio honor, y la verdad es que fue muy bonito por su parte porque me gustó mucho =^^=

Another reference in the same costume is in the mask of Eaadim. The eyes had a similar symbols like the Eye of Horus, which is the symbol which has in one of the eyes of my own character of the RPG of Seventh Sea, so Eaadim did it in my honor and and the truth is that it was very nice because i love that character so i really liked it = ^ ^ =

Otros años no hemos tenido ese espacio de libertad creativa pero este año... este año sí así que Eaadim ha tenido una vez más la idea de meter algo que le gusta...

Pero esta vez no os voy a decir a qué hace referencia, no del todo, quiero ver si alguien lo adivina (aunque aviso desde YA que es muy complicado). Aún así os daré un par de pistas:

1. Es el símbolo de la izquierda de la placa el que tiene un significado doble-

2. Es un símbolo relacionado con un personaje de un manga, un shonen de batalla de nuestra época de niños que tiene mucho éxito y que actualmente incluso sigue adelante porque tiene nuevas versiones, viejas reeditadas... y mucho merchandising.

3. Este símbolo no es el que "representa" al personaje sino uno que aparece en uno de sus ataques especiales

Other years we haven´t had that creative space of freedom but this year ... this year we could do it so Eaadim was happy to can have that freedom and he do another "wink" of something he really loves.

But this time I'm not going to say which refers, not at all, I want to see if anyone guesses. Still I give you a couple of clues:

1. It is the symbol on the left of the plate which has a double meaning.

2. It is a symbol related to a character from a manga, a shonen battle manga of our time when we were child and it is a very successful manga now too.

3. This symbol isn´t the one which represent the character but when the character do a special attack you can see it.

Saturday of Cosmake

Hiiiii!!! This is Hiromi one more time!!

Como últimamente los sábados trabajamos mucho en los cosplays, pues los domingos suele tocar entrada de cosmake =^^= Así que en esa estamos =^^=

The last weekends, on saturday, we were spending (and we are spening) in work in our cosplays, so on sundays I usually have news for you =^^= So here we are =^^=

Os voy a contar todo lo que hicimos el sábado, de acuerdo?? Así que vamos allá!!!

I´m going to tell ya all we did last saturday, ok? Here we go!!



Para empezar el viernes estuve cortando todas las piezas que me quedaban del traje, corté los pantalones del Príncipe, mi corpiño y falda. Tenía que cortarlas ya, bien es cierto, pero mi interés principal era empezar a pintar los dibujos que tiene Pyrrha en la falda.

On Friday, I cut all my remaining pieces of the suits, Prince´s pants, my corset and skirt. I was very interested in cut the skirt because I had to paint the draws you can see in the Pyrrha´s skirt in it. 

Si os fijáis bien tiene una cenefa en dorado, así que necesitaba pintarla antes de comenzar a hacer las tablas que tiene la falda.

If you look it carefully you can see a border in gold, so I needed to paint before I start making the pleated that the skirt has.

Como el dibujo es más o menos simétrico, y reiterativo, lo primero que hice fue hacer las marcas a lápiz para que no me bailaran y quedara muy mal.

As you can see in the picture, the draw is more less symmetrical, and repetitive, so the first thing I did was make pencil marks to have a clear idea of the draw.

Y luego, en un trabajo sin duda de chinos me puse a pintar los motivos con pintura dorada especial para tela, la cual la he conseguido con facilidad en una tienda de manualidades y a muy buen precio, para quien se lo pregunte sólo me ha costado 3 euros el botecito, uno que da para bastante, aunque parezca pequeño.

And then (without a doubt that this is a super laborious job) I began to do the work with a gold paint special to draw in the fabrics. Oh! You can buy it very easy in a craft store, and for a good price! Here it was 3 euros a small bottle but you can paint a lot with that lil bottle so...

¿Por qué pinto en la tabla de planchar? (puede que se pregunten los que no sepan de costura) Porque al estar ya cosida la falda (le puse el dobladillo y todo antes de pintar para evitar que se me fuera) forma una O gigante, así que iba usando ese soporte para que no cayera al suelo y se me ensuciara.

Why am i painting on the iron board? (You may ask if you don´t know about sew) Because the skirt was already sew in a part so it was like a huge O, so using that support the skirt would not hit the ground and I get dirty.

Los motivos en dorados que son como eslabones en cadena, aunque los pinté todo, aún no están terminados porque necesito ponerle la sombra en negro para que parezcan realmente eslabones, es que el dibujo la propia textura ayuda a ver esas sombras, pero una pintura normal no cambia de colores a gusto, así que tengo que ir a comprar negro (que no se me ocurrió el día que fui) y terminar eso.

The motifs are like golden chains, although I painted everything, they are not finished yet because I need to put a black shadow to look like the skirt in the videogame. In the videogame you can use the same colour easily to do shadows but in the reality that´s not like that, or so simple, so i need an extra colour, and i didn´t have at home so i need to wait till i can buy it to finish it.

But you can see that it is going smooth =^^=

En otro orden de cosas, Eaadim estuvo poniendo masilla a las placas de la garra para hacerlas resistentes, eso hará que podamos pegarlas a la goma eva que nos servirá de base y puente para ponerla garra en el guante.
La masilla empleada es LittlePlast, podéis encontrarla con facilidad en tiendas de manualidades y de bricolaje y en grandes superficies de bricolaje como el Bricomart.

At the same time, Eaadim was putting putty in the claw to make them more resistant, that will allow us to glue them to the eva-rubber that will serve as a bridge to put the plates of the claw in the glove.
You can buy easily too the putty in a DYA store on ina craft store too, we used the brand Littleplast.

Antes que llegara Eaadim a mi casa yo había estado haciendo pruebas de pintura con el guante, pues el que tenemos no es marrón como el que necesitamos, así que al ser un guante un poco poroso pensé que con pintura para tela podría dar resultado el intentar pintarlo. Así pues hice la prueba:

Before Eaadim arrived to my house I had been testing the paint we wanted to use in the glove, since we didn´t have a brown glove like we want we thought about trying to paint it, the material of the glove was a lil porous so we think that the paint could be a good solution. So i tested: 

Y salió bien, por lo que cuando Eaadim terminó con la masilla de las placas se puso a pintar el guante.

And it was an "ok", so Eaadim, when he finished with the putty he began to paint the glove.

Gastamos el botecito entero de pintura pero mereció mucho la pena, la verdad, la foto se hizo ya casi a las 9, y había poca luz, así que no se puede apreciar bien, pero el color ha quedado muy bien. ¡¡De hecho parece un guante de cetrero!! Ahora Eaadim y yo tenemos la coña de que deberíamos buscarnos un halcón para amortizar el guante jajaja

We spend the whole small bottle painting the glove but it deserved, so it didn´t matter. The photo you are seeing about it hasn´t a lot of light ´cause it was already late, so... Actually the glove is really cool, I think that is more less like a falconer glove!! hahaha so Now eaadim and I joke about that hahaha (The falconer Prince ?? wtf?? XD)


Cuando terminé de pintar en dorado la cenefa, y aunque había tardado lo mío, al no poder seguir por no tener negro (y la tienda estar cerrada en sábado tarde) decidí seguir adelante con lo de los tribales en la chaqueta del Príncipe.

When I finished the part of the paint in the skirt (which was longer that i thought) with gold and like i was unable to continue for not having the black paint (´cause the store was closed on a Saturday afternoon) I decided to go ahead with the tribal Prince jacket.

No teníamos muy claro cómo orientar ese relieve (de hecho aún seguimos sin tener claro todos los detalles) pero debía empezar por algún lugar, así que decidí, para empezar, recortar los tribales en la misma tela para luego coserlos.

I didn´t was quite sure how to  do all about the relief (in fact we still do not have all the details clear) but I had to start somewhere, so I decided to start with cutting the tribals in the same fabric and then sew it.

Lo que pretendemos ahora es coserlos a la chaqueta y con pintura en 3D, marrón porque a Eaadim la prueba con la dorada no le ha gustado, matizar aún más los bordes para dar esa sensación en relieve más si cabe, pero sin pasarse, sin que parezca un montículo de tela más que un relieve.

What we want now is to sew them into the jacket and paint it too with 3D paint, the brown one because Eaadim don´t like the gold 3D paint. That paint will be in the edge of the tribals trying to do a bit more relief. We have to take care with that because one thing is to do a relief and another a mound in the cloth.

La verdad es que tenía mis dudas, pero vistos los relieves cada vez tengo menos, me gustan, la verdad y creo que creativamente son muy interesantes. El primero me recuerda un poco a un árbol y eso se me enlaza con cosas del juego, y el otro... no sé, es como una copa... los tribales me rayan XDD Pero me gustan! Así que realmente quiero darle una oportunidad y ver como quedan realmente =^^= Así que esperemos que en la chaqueta y con el 3D quede bien =^^= No es que vaya a ser un relieve que sea un enorme contraste, después de todo los relieves de esa chaqueta van con la misma tela, pero hasta este tipo de detalles me gusta cuidarlos =^^=

If i tell ya the truth is that I had my doubts, but watching the relief yesterday i think now i have less than before. I like them and i think it is quite interesting and creative. The first reminds me a tree and that reminds me too the game, and the other... i don´t know exactly but... i like it hehehe =^^= So I really want to see how could be the jacket with them =^^= It´s true that doing the reliefs with the same fabric could do that the reliefs don´t show it a lot but i like to do things carefully and with a lot of details, for me it doen´st matter if others can see it or not, I can see it, so i want to do it =^^=

Y por último en este sábado seguimos lijando mis armas, que necesitan un lijadito más, para luego poner masilla por las partes que estén peor de nuevo (y huecos) y lijar una última vez antes que estén listas para pintar. (Lijaaar lijaaar lija sin paraaarrr enmasilla otra veeez y vuelve a empezaaaar XDD se me va la pinza ya!!! XD)

And finally on last saturday, we sanded my weapons again, they need a lil more, then we will put more putty in the part they need it and sand one more time. When they will be like that we could paint the weapons.



La semana que viene celebramos nuestro aniversario, que cae en mitad de semana, así que no habrá cosmake en fin de semana, pero si entresemana, en la que yo iré adelantando cosillas. =^^=

Next weekend we won´t do cosmake, because in a few days it will be our anniversary, so we want to celebrated together and do another thing (not only cosmake cosmake!!), but in the week i will do a lil work of cosmake too, i think.

Tengo que aprender cómo demonios se suben fotos desde el móvil al blog porque soy una lerda y encima voy de lista y hago las fotos de la costura con el móvil, que es lo que me pilla a mano cuando ando en eso, así que no he podido por ahora enseñar nada de eso, por ese estúpido motivo XD (Si alguien lo sabe que me lo diga!!! XD please bloggeros please!!)

I have to learn how i can put my phone photos here because all the photos of the sewing part are in my movil phone!! >///< And i don´t know how to put them here XD so i have to learn... omg why i am so bad for things like this??? XDD if someone knows how to do it... please help me!! XDD

Y bueno!! Esto es todo por ahora!! Este finde ha tenido muchas cosas, de hecho tengo que hacer más entradas porque este fin de semana ha sido temático sin duda de cosplay, pero por ahora no tengo más tiempo.... TT.TT así que....

Cosmake days

Hola a todos!! ¿Cómo andamos? Por aquí..... con mucho trabajo entremanos!! O.o Pero en una entrada más Hiromi les habla para contarles novedades =^^=

Hiiii!! How are you??? We are.... here, you know, working a lot!! O.o This is Hiromi and i am here to tell ya the news =^^=

El sábado pasado de "cosmake" como le estamos llamando en estos últimos fines de semana (pues no nos dedicamos a otra cosa) el resultado del día fue un poco........ variado... Os explicaré.

This last saturday were "cosmake saturday" because we are spending all our weekends in finish our work for the Con and the result of the day was.... a bit varied... I mean...

Por una parte para mi fue una tarde un poco frustrabnte, pues no terminaba de avanzar con las formas en relieve que tiene la chaqueta del Príncipe, pero por otra, a Eaadim le fue muy bien repujando el estaño y ya ha terminado todas las placas de la garra (aunque hay que trabajarla más esa parte ya está hecho).

In one hand, in my hand XD was a bit frustrating day... I wanted to do the shape of the "gabardine" of the Prince but it didn´t go as well as i expected, and in the other hand Eaadim worked hard and he did it a super good job with the claw.

Por mi parte...
Primero empecé mirando los dibujos y la referencia del Príncipe para hacer un patrón en papel de la forma y superponerlo a la tela y ahí señalarla. (y encima buscar las referencias de la espalda era complicado porque salía de todas formas menos de esa, en este videojuego particular, no en los otros, lo cuál aún me tocaba más las narices)
Primer problema: de las imágenes del juego a las "más bonitas" y pintadas cambiaba algo la forma, no en su base pero si en la percepción.

Ok, so in "my hand"...
First og all i began studing the draws about the Prince so I could do the correct pattern in paper and then do it in the fabric, or that was i thought... Because the first problem i found was to see a good draws of the part i need to study -_-
And then the real first problem or the main problem of that was that the pattern changes in all the drawas and the images of the game -_- 8really?? are you f*** kidding me??)

Mi primera resolución fue elegir hacer una mezcla entre ambos diseños y primar mi propio gusto por encima de devanarme el seso si es "exactamente igual" o no.

So my first conclusion was that I will do it like I want to, I use my own taste when i won´t know how type of pattern I will use.

 

 **Así que empecé a hacer pruebas en papel (antes incluso de hacer las pruebas definitivas en papel) para ir poco a poco cuadrando el dibujo a mi gusto.

**So I began to do the preliminar pattern on the paper so i could see the draw in the fabric and could do with my own taste.

 

Nosotros somos del tipo de cosmakers que nos gusta algo de libertad en los diseños y si hay algo que no tenemos claro o que no nos gusta, lo cambiamos, tal cual, sé que los cosmakers más precisos pensarán en esto como quizás una aberración, pero a nosotros nos gusta "customizar" los trajes a nuestra manera. De hecho más adelante os voy a hacer una entrada de cosas muy curiosas que tenemos en nuestros trajes gracias a esa "customización" =^^= (es que somos frikis hasta para eso, ya veréis... XD)


We are the type of cosmakers that we love to have some freedom in the designs and if something is not clear or we don´t like it, we change it. I know that the more accurate cosmakers can be now thinking that we are crazy or whatever (an aberration?? XD) but we like to "customize" the suits in our way. In fact, later I will make an entry of curious things we did in our cosplays thanks to this "customization" = ^ ^ = 

Pero es que ahí no terminó la cosa, mientras trabajaba en bocetos preliminares y luego en patrones en los que aún estaba trabajando a Eaadim empezó a no hacerle gracia la forma que tenía :S en serio... -_-
Eaadim decía que la parte de delante estaba bien y le gustaba pero que la forma de detrás no le convencía, por mucho que fuera la del juego y por mucho que fuera la del diseño original, y que él quería usar esa faceta nuestra de customización y cambiarla.


But the problems didn´t end there, while I was working on preliminary sketches Eaadim began not to like the way it was :S seriosly :S ... -_-
Eaadim said that the front of the cloth was ok and he like it but in the back.... that design didn´t convinced him.. For him, it didn´t matter if the new design isn´t like in the game, he wanted to us that part of us of freedom and did the design he really likes.


La verdad es que me resisití a la idea porque pensaba que se podía hacer una mezcla de las ideas, de lo que hay en el juego y de lo que él podía querer pero al final.... ¿De quién es el traje y para quien es? Eaadim manda, así que comencé con nuevos diseños y bocetos basándome en lo que le apetecía, que en este caso vamos a probar a hacer relieves de tribales que le gusten.

The truth is that I din´t want to change all the design because I thought we could do a mixture of ideas, of what it is in the game and what he could want but in the end .... For whom is the cosplay?? who is the person who will put it?? So at the end I decided to do what Eaadim wanted because it is his cosplay. So i began with the new design and sketches. And he wanted.... tribals.

Los tribales pueden ser muy cani, es cierto, pero no es que sean canis es que ellos lo han hecho de esa manera, es decir, que si te quitas ese mal pensamiento de la cabeza los hay que son una pasada. Y en esa nos pusimos. Eaadim elegidó dos tribales que le gustaron, uno para la altura de los hombros y otro para que esté centrado en la gabardina y ahora mismo trabajamos con eso pensando cómo podemos hacerlo en relieve y que quede bien...

Here, in Spain, tribals are used for... people who area bit... i don´t know how to day it... naff?? Maybe that is the closest definition I can say it of those people... So, that isn´t the problem, the main problem is that in our main tribals are a bit naff but if you think about it tribals are cool! Eaadim chose 2 tribals and i began to think how to do them in the suit...

Y la verdad es que es un poco problemático, para qué te voy a mentir... ^^U

But if i have to tell ya the true is that I had a lot of problems with them too ^^U XD

Como estaba algo ofuscada con todo el asunto del cambio y del recambio pues la verdad es que a final de la tarde lo dejé a un lado y seguí cosiendo tiras de tela que al final eso voy a tener que hacerlo para los bordados, y no es que tenga suficiente como para pensar que puedo dejar de coser. Por lo cual en eso ocupé el final de la tarde... En coser hasta que las manos me temblaban XDDD

So i really was angry and I couldn´t work well ´cause all the things i tryed to do i didn´t like it or i had a lot of problems... so I gave up (only for that day) of working in that part of the costume and I began to sew the other parts. So at the end I was working all the day too, but my work was... irregular.


Por parte de Eaadim la tarde fue más rápida y mejor, la verdad. Él había empezado ya con el repujado y estuvo trabajando toda la tarde en terminar las piezas de la mano.

Eaadim worked a lot and very fast. We did a super good job with the claw and the pieces!!

Ahora sólo nos queda usar el littleplast para hacerle una capa inferior, que se endurezca y coja solidez, preparar la base de goma eva para que pueda ser de puente para agarrarlo al guante y pintarlo de manera que se vea envejecido.
¿Sencillo verdad? (-_- más que sencillo "rápido"... XD)
Pero eso será el próximo sábado!


Now we just have to use the "littleplast" to give them a lower layer which hardens and take strength, preparing eva- rubber base so it can be a bridge to grab the glove and paint it to look aged.
Simple? (-_-Rather than simple "fast" ... XD)
But that will be next Saturday!


Eaadim esta semana tiene como trabajo terminar de lijar mi escudo y espada para prepararlo para los retoques finales y por fin la pintura.
Me sentiré mucho más tranquila cuando vea que empiezan a "salir cosas" y que tenemos ya terminadas muchas de ellas porque por ahora la verdad es que empiezo a estar cada vez más agobiada por el tiempo que nos queda hasta el salón...


Eaadim has job this week too (i have to sew a lot this week). He has to finish sanding my shield and sword to prepare for the finishing touches and finally painting.
I feel much calmer when I could see parts of the cosplay which are end because the truth is now I am less calmer and I am begining to think about the Con and the few days we have... -_-

Ulzzang nerd

Hola a todos!! Les habla Hiromi en una entrada más =^^=

Hi all!! This is Hiromi one more time! =^^=

Esta va a ser una entrada un poco fuera de lo común (y muy chorra, por qué no decirlo jaja) , pero creo que interesante en su propio sentido =^^=

El título es un poco extraño también ¿verdad?

Bueno, de qué va esto... Pues es muy simple, la verdad es que desde hace tiempo me muevo por tribus urbanas, sobretodo de ascendencia asiática, buscando dónde sentirme cómoda a la hora de vestirme y salir a la calle y hasta hace poco no había caído en algo. Y eso es que para mi vestirme es como hacer cosplay, como no me siento "nada en particular" (es decir: ni gyaru, ni ulzzang, ni visual kei, ni gótica, ni emo...) me siento a la vez de todas esas formas y mucho más. Cuando elijo la ropa o la compro pienso en los estados de ánimo que tengo en ese momento, en los tipos de vestir que me gusta y compro un poco de todo, me gusta variar y me gusta hacerlo muy a menudo.

This entry will be a bit unusual (and very nonsense, why not haha), but I think it's interesting in its own sense = ^ ^ =

The title is a bit weird too right?

Well, what this is ... Well it is very simple, the truth is that for a long time I move through urban fashion tribes, especially of asians, looking for a place to feel comfortable when I dressed and go out and until recently I had not fallen into something in special. And that's ´cause to me to dress is like to do cosplay, so i could be gyaru, ulzzang, emo, goth... and i could be nothing of all of that. When I choose to buy clothes or think what to pick i always think about my dayly mood so i have a lot of different kinds of clothes and i like to wear a lot of types!

Y en esas estamos, que diga, estoy ^^U en cambiar. Últimamente me he dado cuenta que cuando salgo entre semana cada vez me da más pereza arreglarme pero siempre una quiere cuidarse así que he descubierto mi última forma de vestirme que es.... ulzzang nerd!!

And in these kind of days i am now hehe ^ ^ U Changing. Lately I've noticed that when I go out during the week I get more and more lazy to dress me up but i don´t want to be soooo lazy so...  I found my new way to dress me!!.... ulzzang nerd! ¿?? wtf XD

Siiii, se trata de usar la forma ulzzang de maquillaje, suave, sutil, natural, con mi forma más nerd de vestir, además ayuda bastante las gafas nuevas que tengo jaja

Ulzzang nerd? Whatñs that? Yeahhhh, it comes to using the way of ulzzang makeup (soft and natural) with my nerdy way of dressing (and also helps a lot that I have new glasses haha)

¿Y sabéis que? que me encanta jajaja Porque nunca he negado ser friki y tampoco he negado que soy una chica estudiosa (que no empollona aunque siempre me lo han dicho :S) y me gusta cuidarme así que como he dicho he encontrado otra forma perfecta de vestirme (o disfrazarme) para salir a la calle, cómoda pero con personalidad =^^=

And you know what? I REALLY love it!! hahaha  Because I've never denied being geek and I've never denied that I am a studious girl (not nerd although I always have said that :S) and I like to take care of details so as I said I found another perfect way to dress (or disguise) to go outside, comfortable but with personality = ^ ^ =

Bueno, y tras todas estas tonterías os dejo con las fotos de mi nuevo outfit XD

En breve nueva entrada sobre cómo llevamos el cosplay, una entrada con el repujado de la garra del Príncipe, muy interesante, pero hasta entonces os dejo con esta tontería XDD
