Esta brevísima entrada sólo es para informaros que Eaadim y yo estaremos en el Salón del Manga de Barcelona del 1 al 4 de Noviembre!! Bien!!
Así pues no sabréis de nosotros por un tiempo, pero vamos a volver cargados de chismes, sucesos, anécdotas, fotos y más fotos, cosillas que compremos y demás, así que a la vuelta habrá muuuchas cosas de las que hablar.
Por lo tanto... ¡¡tenéis que esperarnos!!

Rules for Xmas!! Xmas is coming!!

¿Cómo que las Navidades ya están aquí casi??!! O.o

How can be possible that Xmas time are here now??!! O.o

¡¡Hola a todos!! les habla Hiromi ^0^ y Si!! Las Navidades se nos echan encima!!! Yupiiii!!!! Para alguien como Eaadim o para mi esto es motivo de felicidad y de bailes indiscriminados de alegría! (wtf?? bailes de alegría?? XDD). En serio, somos dos personas con un síndrome de Peter Pan más que interesante... jajaja Aunque en realidad es que creo que disfrutamos realmente de unas fiestas que para nosotros son entrañables, con un tiempo de recogimiento, con olores familiares, espíritu amable y sobretodo... ¡¡regalos!!! jajajaja

Hi you all guys!! This is Hiromi ^0^ and Yes!! Xmas time is here!!! Yeeeahhhh!!! For someone like Eaadim and I we are wishing all the year that it will be Xmas time again because we are super happy in that time and only to think in that we happily dance (wtf?? a happy dance?? XDD). Seriously, we LOVE Xmas time, I don´t know if it´s for our Peter Pan syndrome or what but we really enjoy this time, because we think it´s super nice, kind, we like the weather, the parties and... presents everywhere!!! hahaha

¿Y cómo es que me da por decir que las Navidades están ya aquí?? Pues... porque el otro día, al ir a comprar una silla para el escritorio de Eaadim en un Carrefour vimos.... ¡¡los juguetes!! ¡¡Y si!! Ya están puestos y subiendo de nivel y de cantidad!!! Jujujuju ¡¡bieeeeennnn!! Eso es signo inequívoco de que hay que sacar a los niños (y a los no tan niños) de paseo, a comer castañas calentitas, a ver regalos, a ir por el catálogo de juguetes del Corte Inglés y de dejarnos de "depresiones navideñas" ni leches y disfrutar de unos días llenos de magia en donde los seres más inocentes del mundo, los niños, aún creen en la magia y en los Reyes Magos y Papa Noel.

But... How is it possible that In October I´m talking about Xmas time??? That´s ´cause... the other day Eaadim and i went to buy something to the carrefour (a big comercial centre) and we saw.... the toys!!! yes!!! They are there now!!! yay!!!!!! >////< when the toys are in the shops it means that Xmas time is near!!! yayyyy!!!! So, it´s time to hang out with kids (are not only kids haha), eat hot chestnuts, go to see the toys and begin to think about presents,... and forget all abput "Xmas depression" and have fun in those kinds days in which the magic is still alive!!! Santa and The Three Magic Kings (The Three Wise men in Spain)!!!!! >////<

Yo personalmente me declaro super monárquica en estas fechas jujuju ¡¡que se quiten las americanadas en nuestro país cuando tenemos no uno ni dos sino TRES Reyes a nuestra disposición!! Y, asumámoslo, son más y vienen con pajes, ellos pueden traer más regalos que un gordo vestido de coca-cola juasjuasjuas Aunque Eaadim es de otro cantar y de hecho, después de todas estas faltas contra el símbolo yanki creo que eso no lo traduciré al inglés!! jajajajaja nooo es broma... (si... brooomaa..... XD)

I have to say that, personaly, I love the Three Wise Men, they are our Santa in Spain, they are kings of orient and they gave Jesus presents when his birth (you can read in the Bible!!). And, i´m soooo sorry to say this to all of you who likes Santa but the Three Kings are better, they are Kings, they are three and they have pages!! So they can carry much more presents!!! hahahaha But Eaadim likes Santa :S (wtf??!! D:) and I don´t understand that!! Sorry guys but santa don´t have anything to do here!! haha They have to eat less Big Macs and give us more presents!!! hahahahaha I´m joking of course!

Bueno, como decía, las Navidades sobrevuelan por encima muestra y como adoramos estas fiestas he decidido hacer una guía rápida, divertida y fácil para que todos vosotros la disfrutéis tanto como nosotros dos!! O al menos eso se intentará! Debes pensar que estas reglas no sólo te van a llevar a ver las cosas de otro modo sino a disfrutar como cuando eras pequeño así que... desata tu lado de "Nunca jamás" y vente con nosotros a dar una vuelta!! =^^=

So, like I´m saying... Xmas is here in a lil so we have to be ready for that, so Eaadim and I are going to tell you our Xmas rules to have fun as you are again a kid, and we are sure that you can do it and have so much fun as us!! So... welcome to our "Neverland tour" and be a kid in Xmas again!!!

XMAS RULES FOR HAVE FUN!!

1. Deja atrás toda vergüenza y reparos absurdos y ABRAZA y juega con toooodos los peluches que veas sobretodo los gigantes!!!!

3. I want! I want! I waaaant!!! Remember when you  were a kid and you liked all you saw in tv, in the shops, in the commercials... ALL, you wanted all!! Don´t be mad and try to remember that, it´s true that before and now you can´t have all but it´s good sometimes to express your feelings and show that you want somethings, because now you have "others" Santas or Kings, so they want to know what do you like for Xmas!

So do a biiiig wish list full of differents things to give them, they always give you presents that you like but you don´t know what they are going to buy you!! So fun and always have a good present!! and they don´t have to think too much when you really know your own taste!!!

Peliculas, si es parte del ambiente Navideños, no vas a ver a los teleñecos haciendo "Cuentos de Navidad" en otra época del año porque "no pega" y con razón, así que saca tu niño interior y regalate un perezoso domingo en la camillita viendo una peli de estas, y si es en compañía, pues mejor! ¡Y no olvides palomitas!! jeje

5. Movies, this time of the year it´s the only one in which you can see "that" kind of movies, movies like "Xmas tales", because in other time... Are you going to see Polar express in July??? No! See those movies now and be a kid for a lil time, in your sofa with a big and warm blanket and with good company! And don´t forget the popcorns!!

6. ¿Hay algo más bonito y romántico que ir a ver las luces de Navidad? No cuesta un duro y es otra de esas cosas únicas de las fechas y que son especiales, salir a pasear bajo estas. ¡¡No puedes decir que no!!

Me despido ya de esta entrada taaaaaan extraña en estas fechas, no sin antes aclarar una cosilla (jeje) ya habréis notado que hay toda clase de fotos en esta entrada, es que Eaadim y yo siempre andamos visitando las tiendas de juguetes todo el año (jajaja nuestro niño interior, si eso XDD), y que algunas son del año pasado (es que claro, hasta yo sé que me he adelantado con esta entrada jejeje así que, para aquellos curiosos, os dejo la imagen "real" de cómo iba una servidora el sábado a ver los regalos del Corte Inglés y tal. Ojalá hubiera hecho más fotos! Porque iba divina de la muerte, que está mal que yo lo diga pero es la verdad jajajajaja

Primula Studio & La Vida en Cosplay

Hola chicos!! Les habla Hiromi!! =^^=

Hi guys!! This is Hiromi!!  =^^=

=^^= En esta entrada del blog voy a anunciar una cosilla que me hace ilusión =^^= Como algunos ya saben y como vais a saber el resto tanto Eaadim como yo formamos parte del increíble staff de la revista de cosplay española online "La Vida en Cosplay". Una servidora tiene el sobrenombre de guerra de "Washu" y me ocupo de la sección que reparte polémicas en el mundillo, pero no sólo en la revista, sino también en el blog. (Un minuto de polémica).

=^^= In this blog entry I´m going to tell ya an amazing thing for me =^^= I don´t know if you know that I´m a columnist in the spanish cosplay online Magazine "La Vida en Cosplay" (The Life in Cosplay), and Eaadim is recently there too. The staff of the magazine is aaaaawsome! full of amazing people that makes you feel good and give you a lot of energy to work in your section. If you can read spanish maybe you can read me =^^= so please ask me in that case =^^=

La verdad es que desde que empecé en diciembre del año pasado he crecido no sólo como cosplayer, sino como persona, he conocido a gente increíble, he hecho muchos amigos nuevos, he aprendido cantidad sobre cosplay y sigo creciendo y enterándome de más y más cosas. Y es por eso mismo que animé a Eaadim, cuando quedó un huequillo libre en la redacción para que se uniera a nuestro variopinto staff de personas geniales y colaborará, el en la sección de videojuegos.

The true is that when i began last year I didn´t know I´ll be as good as I´m now, I thought it will be great but not as awsome at it is! I´ll grow better and bigger not only like a cosplayer! and I lear soooo much things that i can´t belive it!! So that´s why I told eaadim to join us too, and I think he is happy now too for that, Eaadim did articles about videogames, because he is a super gamer hehe

Una vez dicho todo esto quería anunciar que la revista trimestral "Primula Studio" en diciembre va a sacar un pequeño reportaje de una servidora con una entrevista *0* Me siento muy honrada! Y no sólo eso, sino encantada de la vida porque la jefa de la revista es un verdadero amor y me he animado a no sólo brindarle esa entrevista, sino que, como me gusta mucho escribir y es una revista trimestral... me he dicho... ¿Y si escribo alguna historietilla para esta?

Well, the other thing I want to tell ya it´s that in another online magazine "Primula Studio" I´ll have an interview like cosplayer!! O.O OMG! I´m so proud of it!! hehe And when the magazine will be I´ll link to you so you can see my photos (if you can´t read spanish of course XDD). But that isn´t all!! I love to write it´s one of my favourites hobbies, so the same magazine which has a part of amateurs novelist ask me if I want to join them and send my stories!! O.o! Of course I´ll do!! haha

Total, que la verdad es que no sé qué va a pasar, si gustará o no, pero la verdad es que me anima mucho al conocer a gente así y ahora me planteo sacar a la Washu que comenzó como crítica de manganime y hacer también una seccioncilla al estilo en la revista... ¡¡hay tantas posibilidades que me atonto!! jajajaja

So... I´m super proud to can help in another magazine and have fun writting ´casue I love it!! And it´s possible that they want me too to talk about cómics, like a critic XDD I have a very clear mind when it´s come to things that i like or dislike so to be critic isn´t new for me =^^= And do critics about comics it´s cool!! I feel nervous for all of that!!

¡¡Hola a todos!! os escribe EAADIM, y me gustaría compartir con vosotros una de las curiosidades del fín de semana tan casero y tan pasado por agua que hemos tenido.

Hi there!! This is EAADIM!! and i wanna show you a little thing we did last weekend in which we were working in our cosplay at home meanwhile it was rainning out.

Este sábado pasado la agenda para el cosplay estaba a tope, de hecho ya empezabamos a tener la agradable presión del tiempo pisándonos los talones. Tenemos por norma divertirnos hagamos lo que hagamos, así que propusimos un Plan B para cuando quedasemos K.O.; ver una peli de miedo, con el equipo oficial de peli de miedo (una manta bien gruesa y una bolsa de M&M).

This last saturday we were working a lot on our cosplay and we began to think that we really didn´t have all the time we thought we have because we are having so much problem in this last days with our cosplay. So we are people who think that we always have to have fun in the things we do, so we decided to stop a bit and then do the Plan B, or something like that XDD in the night, so we decided to see an horror movie (Hiromi don´t like them!!! TT.TT) with official horror movies set! the popcorns, the blanket and M&N!!

A Hiromi y a mi nos pirra el chocolate, y muy especialmente las bolsas grandes de M&M, así que fui yo el que se encargo de los preparativos y de paso se me ocurrió lo siguiente:

Hiromi and i love the chocolate, and M&N the most, so I did all the preparations and...

Apartar un puñado de M&M y pintarlos como los vengadores (el azul para el Capitán America, el verde para Hulk...). Empecé por Hulk y cuando vi el resultado quise seguir hasta Nick Furia con el M&M marrón...

I took a handful of M&N and i decided to paint them as the Avengers huhuhu (the blue one was Captain America, the green one Hulk...) I began with Hulk, and when I saw it i thought to do Nick Furia too with the brown one hehe

Aquí está el resultado, el diseño es bien simple, pero es facil jugar con las expresiones y quedán muy simpaticos, espero que os guste.

So, at the end altought the design was easy it was super fun to do them and the expresion was so funny.
I wish you like them XD

Sí, tuvimos un accidente con el Capitán America, precisamente mi preferido, pero es posible que los rehaga y le ponga nuevas expresiones, si lo hago, os pondré los resultados por aquí.


We had (Hiromi had -_-) and accident with the Captain (Hiromi said "I´m soooo sooooryyy captain!!) and he is my favourite! (Hiromi said "I´m sooooooo soooorryyyy Eaadim!! TT.TT) but I´m thinking to re-do-it (Hiromi said "pleeeaaseee!!") so if i do I´ll show you here!

Este blog post va a ser cortito debido a que sobretodo quiero alertaros que quiero empezar a hacer en breve Vblogs!!! Siiii!!! Para aquellos que me conocen en persona quizás esto no sea nada del otro jueves pero para los que son de otros países, amigos o conocidos por internet esto es emocionante, pues pueden volverme a oír y a ver en movimiento y a los que no, pues directamenete conocerme!!

This entry will be lil because I want to say that I wanna do vblogs!!! in a near neeeeeaaar future XD!!! Yes!!! If you don´t know me in persona, and it´s very possible if you are reading me in english hehe, maybe you wanna know how it´s my voice or my person when i talk or... whatever!! And that´s make me feel nervous!!! :S I wish you like me!! hehe

Me he creado un canal en Youtube que será "Cute geeky Life" pues será mi canal (personal me refiero, pero tranquilos que los videos podrán ser vistos desde aquí, el blog), en donde hablaré de muchas cosas, como aquí, pero antes de empezar a divagar con mis vicios, gustos extraños, Monster Highs por doquier y demás quería hacer esta entrada para avisaros que estáis invitado a darme ideas para los videos.

For that reason i did a Youtube chanel, "Cute geeky girl" in which i´ll put my videos and here, of course you can see them thanks to come here, to my blog. What kind of things you´ll find there??? hahahaha a loooot of things, monster high, talk about comics, rolegames, videogames, mad things, obssesions of mine XDD.........
This entry it´s to tell ya that if you wanna tell me some new ideas about what kind of things you want to hear me you can do it!!!

¡Hay que ver la cara que tiene esta moza!! Noooo que no se trata que me hagáis el trabajo!! jaja sino que si tenéis alguna petición en concreto pues se me puede decir y yo veré si puedo/quiero/esposible cumplirla. Por ejemplo: cómo empezastes en el mundillo??; grábate haciendo cosmake; qué cómics te gustan (americanos, manga, europeo...); cuántos años que eres una friki; vas a desnudarte en algún video (¿??wtf?? claro que no!! XD) bueno, pues cántate algo (¬¬ me lo pensaré...) XDD... Y tooooooodas las chorradas que se os ocurran, que al menos me las leeré XDD y ya tengo un cuadernillo lleno de ideas tontas y no tan tontas.
También haré videos de otras cosas, quizás más útiles en plan tutoriales, pero la verdad es que los vblogs que planeo hacer son más de "vidacotidiana" o al menos de una "cute geeky life" que de eso se trata ¿no?

So cheeky this girl trying that we do the worst part to choose in a vblog!!! Nooooo!! It´s true that i want to know your opinion but I´m not using you!! haha So you can ask me for differents topics like... do a vblogs when you are doing cosmake, how about to tell us about your family, when the geeky life began, can you be in topless in a vblog (noooo!!!! XDDD) wel... can you sing us somthing?? (really??? ¬¬ well... let me think about it... XDD), do some tutorial...
You know, someting like that.
My chanel will be about my cute and geeky life, so altough i can do tutorials a lot of vblogs will be about topics relationated with me.


¡Ah! Y obviamente el canal será bilingüe XDD Dios!!! no hace tiempo ni ná que no hablo en inglés!! Escribir y leer a diario pero hablar.... XDD la verdad es que me hace ilusión porque adoro hablar en inglés así que le sacaré brilló gracias a esto. Así que colocaré siempre un video en español y diciendo más o menos lo mismo en inglés, porque los haré sin guión claro, así que nunca serán exactamente lo mismo en la forma pero si en el fondo, lo digo por si alguien le da por ver los dos y dice... "¿pero qué dice esta tia??" XDD
La verdad es que justamente eso me tiene ilusionada Ò////Ó el hablar de nuevo en inglés, así que espero ya con ansia ponerme a hacer los videos.

En un blog con temática cosplay es total e imprescindible hablar de lentillas así que yo no iba a ser menos!! ^o^

Hi guys!! This is Hiromi =^^= 
This blog is about our geeky life and cosplay is a important part of it, so I have to talk about lens!!

La realidad es que soy una fanática de los modelos de lentillas "circle lens" o lentillas circulares que nacieron en Japón con el fin de imitar la enorme mirada de los personajes del manganime, pero no sólo para el cosplay, sino que gracias a la variedad de modelos y el fin de estos, me permite usarlas a diario también >///<
Y es que no puedo negar que el estilo gyaru japonés, es decir, las chicas super a la moda con una maña tremenda para maquillarme es algo que me encanta!

I´m a super fan of the circle lens which were born in Japan because they wanted to do big eyes like in the mangaime, but this lens aren´t only for the cosplay, you can go out normally with them because they are a lot of differents types.
I can´t deny that I´m madly in love with the japanese culture and with the subculte of the gyaru >///< super cute fashion? really? It´s impossible not to be in love! Ò.Ó

Así pues me he hecho una experta en lentillas de todos los colores y tamaños y he pensado que no hay nada mejor que compartir esa información!

Además quiero también mostrar que esta clase de detalles son las que hacen que los cosplays mejoren notablemente, y es que muchas veces hay más trabajo en un cosplay de lo que incluso ya de por si parece. 

¡¡Detalles chicos!! Al final eso es lo que marca la diferencia!!

Por lo que hoy vengo a hacer un Review de las lentillas "Bambi-Princes Mimi" de Geo!

So I had a lot of circle lens now and I can tell you that lil by lil I´m quite an expert of this kind of circle lens haha So I wanna share my info! >///<
When you are doing cosplay details can make the difference between a quite good cosplay and an amaaaazing one!
Details!!! There are super important!
So today I want to share you a review of the lens "Bambi-Princess Mimi" of Geo!

 “Bambi- Princess Mimi” 

Las lentillas de la línea Bambi de la compañía Geo en occidente son también conocidas como las Princess Mimi, por lo que podéis buscarlas por cualquiera de esos dos nombres.

Bambi lens of Geo in Europe are known as Princess Mimi as well, so you can search for them with those names.

**Estos son mis ojos sin lentillas (para que podáis apreciar luego el cambio de color y de tamaño)
** Those are my eyes withouth the lenses (so now you can see the change of the color and the size)

Las Princess Mimi son unas lentillas de las consideradas de “gran diámetro” al ser de 15 mm de tamaño. Esto produce un efecto muy impactante en nuestra mirada, sin duda mucho más que unas circle lens de 14 mm (y más que el tamaño de un ojo natural que no llega tan siquiera a 14mm). Si tuviera que definir este impacto visual que causan, diría que estamos ante unas lentillas que “ya hacen notar que los ojos son enormes” pero que “siguen dando una impresión cuasi natural” ya que, aunque amplían mucho el diámetro de nuestro ojo y lo convierten en un puro ejemplo de ojo de muñeca, sigue sin parecer del todo alienígena, como podría pasar con otros modelos de diámetros mayores o incluso del mismo diámetro.

Princess Mimi are big size lenses, because they have 15mm of diametre, so that´s why the impact in the eyes is quite amazing. You have to think that the Circle Lens have a diametre at least of 14mm which is more less 1 or 2 mm more than a real eyes, so the effect is like a doll eyes or a puppy eyes. Super cute! This kind of lens are in the limit of a cute and dolly eyes and not too much extrange so I think this kind of lenses are perfect when you want a "natural" cute look or you are searching for a lenses than seems to be quite natural for a cosplay.

¿Cómo es que estas lentillas mantienen esa casi naturalidad a pensar de su diámetro? Pues bien, desde mi punto de vista creo que esto se debe a que el color y el dibujo de la lentilla así lo facilitan. Aunque las Princess Mimi poseen un dibujo interior que me recuerda a una margarita, puesta en el ojo no crea esta figura como tal, sino que se difumina en nuestro color y crea matices y formas muy bonitas en nuestro ojo.

Gracias a esto podemos usar estas lentillas tanto para los cosplays de personajes que tengan un look natural como para diario.

So... how is it possible that which that super size the eyes don´t seems to be super extrange or like an alien? Well, that´s ´cause the fabulous color and the draw in the lenses, it can be like a daisy but when you have them in your eyes don´t make a extrange form.
So, thanks to that we can use this kind of lens not only for the cosplay, you can use it to be super cute and fashionable =^^=

La gama de colores de esta línea es muy atrayente y yo diría casi sin temor a equivocarme que cualquiera de los colores que nos ofrecen es una gran elección, incluso tengo que reconocer que me gustaría que se ampliara! Pues el resultado es tan hermoso que no puedo evitar pensar lo estupendo que tuviera una gama gigantesca! Yo poseo las lentillas en marrón y en gris y no puedo estar más satisfecha! De hecho, siendo tan escéptica como soy con los colores como el gris tengo que descubrirme ante la pigmentación de estas lentillas que hacen que no quede oscurecido por un color de ojos castaño o negro.

One of the things I like the most of this lenses are the colors. I can said that are one of the greatest color and lenses I´ve ever wear! And I´m soooooo unhappy because I want that Princess Mimi have to have ALL the colors in the world in their line!!! hahahaha I´m such in love with this line that I have a pair of brown and a pair of grey but I need the green one too!! I saw the green ones too and they are as beautiful as the others >///<
And I have to said that the pigmentation of the lenses are great too, you can have a dark color of eyes but that doesn´t matter, and for me that´s super important in a lenses, more than the diametre or anything!

Estas lentillas tienen una duración de un año y su precio oscila al rededor de unos 18 euros, que como podéis ver es un precio insuperable para unas lentillas de gran diámetro (que suelen ser más caras), apenas pagáis un euro y medio por cada mes que las podéis usar!!!

Another incredible thing it´s that the price of this lenses is only 18 euros, 20 dolar more less. Why is that increible?? Because the duration of the lenses are 1 year! so you don´t pay more than 2 euros per month! And the big sizes lenses usually are more expensive so... Princess Mimi has all you need!!

Welcome one more time to "Cute & Dark Geeky Life" (C&DGL)!! This is Hiromi =^^=

Este fin de semana he sobrevivido a una serie de catastróficas desdichas, o al menos muy poco conveniente que nos ha retrasado un día entero en el mundo del cosplay -_-U lo cual puede no parecer mucho pero para alguien como yo que tiene el tiempo muy limitado es un traspiés que deberemos solventar con rapidez la semana que viene. Menos mal que siempre dejo una cuña de tiempo margen porque sino....

This weekend we had a sequence of unhapiness events which meand that our cosplay time on the saturday wasn´t as good as we need, so we have to re-plan all the next weekend in our cosplay time if we want to make all the things in the shedule -_-U Lucky for us I though in something like this so I have extra free time in october to do them.

El primer fallo ha venido en que necesitábamos comprar ciertas láminas de panel finas que se pueden comprar en papelerías, pero como es puente todas ellas (o al menos todas las que visitamos que no fueron pocas lo estaban) estaban cerradas :S y aunque fuimos a los chinos en estos no había! O.o ¿En un chino no hay algo? ¡El mundo se acaba! xD

The first fail was when we tryed to buy some very fine wood panel which you can buy them in a stationery store, but this last days was holiday here so all of them was closed -_- we tryed to search for one of them which was open but... no -_- And then we tryed with a chinease shop but... they didn´t have them!! O.o a chinease shop witouth all you want???? the world will end... xD

Tras todo ese tiempo perdido llegamos a casa para tratar de darle a las piezas una capa de pintura de clorocaucho para tapar la porosidad del material de la espuma floral, lijarla posteriormente y así poderla pintar en condiciones pero... me temo que hay un problema... cuando fui a comprar la pintura me preguntaron "¿de clorocaucho o de caucho?", la referencia que me habían dado se llamaba "clorocaucho" y así lo pedí pero... ¿sabéis que? que no es, lo espeso que debería ser no lo es y el resultado que se desea tampoco lo da, por no decir que pintar para luego lijar es una estupidez... porque se va toda la pintura. -_-

When we arrived at home we tryed to paint the weapons with the special paint we bouthg, chlorine rubber, but the day I bouth that the shop assitant told me that it was another paint similar but not the same that it can be too, a friend of mine told me about that paint in special so i bouth them but... you know wht? that the paint we really need is... the other -_- So... when something don´t want to be done you can´t do it XD we tryed to work with the pain we had but it was for nothing ^^U

Conclusión, que para lo poco que hicimos tuvimos que rehacerlo, y como era fiesta, pues lo mismo, había muchas cosas cerradas, así que decidimos dejar de por aquel día el cosplay puesto que hay días en los que cuando algo no te sale... NO te sale...
Pero, la buena noticia es que mientras tratábamos de encontrar lo que buscamos si que nos encontramos algunas tiendas abiertas y yo me compré... ¡¡el último libro de David Safier!! Si no sabéis quién es haré una entrada contandoos de este SUPER escritor!
Y Eaadim se compró de segunda mano el Soul Calibur IV por 9 euros!! O.o es para comprarselo vamos XD Eaadim es un gamer que le encanta comprar y vender juegos y tener siempre cosas entre manos, así que no pudo resistirse a ese precio... ¿Y quién lo haría??

In conclusion, we wasted our time but we learnt new things so it wasn´t as bad as you can thing, at least we are very optimistic =^^= So that day we thought not to do more cosplay and do other things XD
The good thing is that when we tryed to buy all the things we need we entered in some shops and we could buy, for me... the last book of David Safier!! He is a GREAT author and i love all his books!! I have to tell you in another entry about his books!
And Eaadim bought a second hand videogame, Soul Calibur IV only for 9 euros!!! O.o He love to buy and sell videogames, play a lot of them and in the end buy the videogames that he loves more.

Peeeerooo antes de despedirme os voy a dejar algunas fotos chorras que si que merecen la pena del trabajo, o del intento de ayer jajaja

Y recordar, niños, siempre que uses pinturas o algún material que pueda ser algo tóxico o dañino... recuerda que debes usar las protecciones adecuadas!!
And remember that if you are going to use some materials that are dangerous you have to take good care of you and use the correct protectors!!

Monster High Obsession

Esta entrada es de lo más peculiar, y es que creo que tengo que contar una cosa personal y ridícula que creo que dice mucho de mi síndrome de Peter Pan que vale un millón de dólares al menos jajaja

This entry is really ridiculous but I think I have to say it clear because I´m a person who is really mad hahaha And I think I have a lil of the Peter Pan syndrome haha but I´m sure that my syndrome it´s at least woth it  in one millon dolars!! haha

Para aquellos que no lo saben soy una coleccionista nata, adoro coleccionar cosas, ya sean cómics, figuritas, cosas kawaii... Así pues, cuando surgieron las muñecas Monster High quedé alucinada por estas.
Soy mujer y me encantan las muñecas, aunque de pequeña no jugara demasiado con ellas, que es la gracia XD pero es que siempre me han gustado como elemento de colección y decorativo (¿lo veis? locura XD).
Como decía, al salir las MH (Monster High) no sólo me encantaron sino que tienen esa forma de vestir fashion y a la vez underground que me alucina y que es muy mío, a mi la moda "normal" no me va, yo fluyo entre corrientes de moda japonesa como la gyaru o la visual kei, pasando por una moda cute geek a un estilo más grounch londinense sin despeinarme, y esas malditas muñecas lo tenían todo!! Tenían el estilo Lolita que también adoro, un estilo fashionista, son cute, son kawaii, no son nada pilingüis... y complementos y más complementos!!

I don´t know if you know it but I´m a collector, I love to collect comics, miniatures, kawaii things... So when the Monster High dolls appeared I was stunned O.o I´m a girl, ok? so i LOVE dolls, when i was child I wasn´te one of those girls who played all the time with dolls but I loved them like something to collect xD
When I saw for the first time a MH (Monster High) i fell in love because they have ALL I like it!! They are cool and cute, they are differents and they have a lot of style, a extrange and cute style like me, who loves the lolita style, gyaru, visual kei. cute-geek... They were my ideal dolls!!!
So... it was impossible for me not to fell in love and want them ALL!!!

Conclusión, he quedado irremediablemente absorvida en ese fantabuloso mundo de imaginación cute y alternativo y ahora soy una maldita exclava de quererlas TODAS.

In conclusion... I´m mad in love with them ´cause this is a real awsome doll-world cute and freaking fashionista so now... I´m their slave hahahahahahaha
And I know my age.... -_- XD

¡¡Pero no os quejéis que realmente es Eaadim quien me sufre!! Hiperventilo cada vez que las veo y me muero por tenerlas todas!!! (ya sabéis, se aceptan MH de regalo siempre XDD) y encima él tiene que soportar que siempre le diga "comprame uuuunnnaaaa!!! por faaavoooor!!!" (Con carita de perrito abandonado *o*)

But you don´t have any bad point here! The worst part it´s for Eaadim who have to hear me all the time saying that "I waaaaanttt theeeeem" and that all the people (you too XD) can give them as a present in Christmass time, in my birthday or... whatever you want!! hahahaha PLEASE DO IT!! hahaha
And I´m the type of "bad" girl who said that with puppy eyes *0* pleeeeaaseeeee hahaha

Bueno... ¿Y a qué viene toda esta tontería sin sentido? ¡Buena pregunta! Más allá de dejar patente mis desquiciados gustos infantiloides (jajajaja) quiero contaros una anécdota super extraña que me ha pasado con ellas y que creo que define mucho el concepto que los empresarios que se están forrando a nuestra costa deben pensar de nosotros "No sólo creamos unas muñecas que se venden como rosquillas sino que encima son los compradores los que nos hacen los diseños y nos dicen cuáles son las siguientes que debemos sacar para que sigan comprando" XDD Somos lo que no hay...

Wel... what´s up with all of this?? Good question! Far away of my mad mind of teenager (haha I think nowadays teenagers don´t think in dolls hahaha more like a kid mind haha) I want to tell you a funny and weird story about the people who are doing the dolls and who are thinking that thanks to stupid girls like me they are millionaires hahaha

Y ahora es cuando viene la historia...
And this is the story...

Hace un año y algo, participé en un concurso para crear una MH y si te votaban mucho pues ganabas un premio de un lote de ellas. A mi favor diré que estoy SEGURA (porque conozco a chicas de mi edad que hicieron lo mismo) que no fui la única mayor de edad que participó jajaja
La cuestión es que con el pequeño y algo cutre creador de muñecas online tu desarrollabas la tuya. Y yo, friki como yo sola de oriente, decidí crear una Long, es decir, una dragona china. ¿Por qué? Pues porque me pareció que una figura mitológica así debía de estar y porque... ¿No había MH con trajes preciosos chinos??? eso debía solventarlo!!
Como puede hice mi diseño (como digo con las opciones que tenía) pero aún así logre ponerle el cuerpo llena de escamas, los ojos arreptilados y en general se veía la idea.

A year more less ago i took part in a competition in which you could create a MH and if the people who saw the web liked your design they voted you and you could win a MH collection! (my dream *o*). I´m sure (because I kwon more girls friend of mine who did the same haha) that i wasn´t the only one no more-kid-girl doing a design hahaha That´s ´cause we love them!! haha
Witht the no super good editor (or super shitty editor) I did one of those dolls, and I did a chinease "Long",I mean a chinease dragon, because of my love of the asian culture. Or I tryed to do more less like that because the program was so awful...

Bueno, no gané ¿vale? Pero al parecer mi idea si que debió ganar en cierto sentido porque... un año y medio más tarde aproximadamente...

Then... I dind´t win but... you know what? One year later....

¡Bienvenido una vez más a "Cute and Dark Geeky Life" (C&DGL)! Les habla Hiromi en esta primera entrada en la que os vamos a mostrar el nuevo proyecto en el que Eaadim y yo nos hemos embarcado!! 

¿Y de qué se trata?? ¡¡Pues ni más ni menos que el hacer los cosplays del Príncipe de Persia (traje del videojuego Prince of Persia 4) y de Pyrrha, la hija de Sophitia del Soul Calibur V!!

Welcome to "Cute and Dark Geeky Life" (C&DGL) one more time!!! This is Hiromi and today I´m gonna tell ya about the new proyect in which Eaadim and I are working!!

So... What´s up? We are working in the costumes of... Prince of Persia (the costume of the videogame Prince of Persia 4) and Pyrrha the daughter of Sophitia, Soul Calibur V!!!!

¿¿¿No son unas elecciones geniales??? Este año va a ser el primer año desde que Eaadim y yo comenzamos a hacer cosplay juntos en el que no vayamos de la misma temática, peeeero no pasa nada!! Por su parte irá con su encantadora hermanita (>////< kawaiiiii una mini-cosplayer!!! Ò.Ó estoy más cerca de conseguir mi grupo de cosplay soñado!!) y por mi parte espero este año contar con dos chicas estupentásticas (XD) que son "Viola" y "Dessyng", dos de mi readers más lindas =^^= ¡¡Chicas al poder!! Vamos a poner el evento patas arriba con nuestro carisma jajaja

Cool, aren´t they?? >///< This year will be the first one, since Eaadim and I began to do cosplay together, in which our characters don´t match each other because they aren´t in the same videogame (manga, anime...) buuuut that´s not bad! Eaadim will go with his lil and suuuuper cute sister like Elika (yayyyy a mini-cosplayer!! >////< so kawaiii!!! My dream will be true Ò.Ó I want mini-cosplayers near to me!! XD). And I´ll go with two of my favourites girl friends =^^= "Viola" and "Dessyng" who are my readers here too, of course. We will be the sensation in the event!!! hahaha

Debido a que una servidora es una opositora muy atareada hemos tenido que empezar este año a hacer el cosplay muy pronto, pues muchas veces yo apenas tengo un día a la semana y el salón, aunque parece estar lejos, no lo está, pues de por medio tenemos el Salón del Manga de Barcelona, las Navidades, San Valentín... y todas esas fiestas que nos gustan tanto y que nos gusta celebrarlas en condiciones sin tener que pensar que "vamos mal de tiempo"... Así pues hemos decido comenzar YA con los trajes.

I´m studing a hard competition exam (I don´t know if you know it) so I don´t have a lot of free time... For that reason we thought that we had to begin this cosplay very early, to do it with calm. You can think that if we have the event in March beggining now it´s too early, but you have to think that in the week i only have a day  free and then you have to think that there are Christmass time, we want to go to the event of manga in Barcelona in November, Saint Valentines... those are dates and days that we want to do those things withouth think "Oh my... we are wasting our cosplay time..." So we thought to begin the cosplay THIS week.

Así pues comencemos con la narración de nuestro trabajo en su primer día!!!

So... now you can read how it was our first day of cosmake!!

DÍA 1: CREACIÓN DE LAS ARMAS DE PYRRHA.

DAY 1: PYRRHA´S WEAPONS

Primero vamos a enumerar los utensilios que usamos en este primer día:

*Espuma floral o Floricel

*Cúter

*Un tubo de aluminio de diámetro pequeño

*Cola blanca y pinceles.

¿Eso es todo? ¡¡Pues si!! Porque con la Espuma floral se pueden hacer cosas increíblemente complicadas de manera muy sencilla y con un resultado INCREÍBLE.

Una de las cosas que quiero mostrar en este blog es que no tienes que tener un taller en tu casa para poder hacer grandes cosplays o al menos con unos resultados más que interesantes, así que espero que la información que comparta con vosotros os sirva y os ayude a ver que todos podemos mejorar con un poco de maña, conocimiento e investigación y ganas!

First of all I´m going to say what kind of tools we used:

*Floricel.

*Cutters.

*Aluminium tube (lil diámetre)

*White glue

That´s all?? YES, do you know what?? Because Floricel is an amazing tool, easy to find and more easy to use!!

With this blog I want to show you that you can do good cosplay without spend a lot of money or withouth have your own workshop in your house. You only have to have a lil of skills, knowledge and will!!

Aquí pues ver algunos de los materiales recién comprados en mi cuarto lleno de cómics y de peluches XD

Here you can see the materials in my study room full of comics and plushes XD

Lo primero que hicimos fue coger las planchas de espuma floral que las compramos en un chino, sin ir más lejos y que nos salieron muy baratas, creo que fueron 3 euros la plancha y comenzamos a dibujar la espada y el escudo en ellas.

Puedes hacer un patrón antes en un papel para que te salga más fiable pero Eaadim y yo tenemos mucha maña y sabemos dibujar, así que lo hicimos "tal cual" y como veis nos salió a la primera XD (Es lo que tiene la experiencia XDD)

First of all we used the floricel (we bought them in a chinease´s chop very cheap, more less 3 euros per one) and then we began to draw the form of the weapons there.

Eaadim and I usually draw so we didn´t use a pattern, but you can do it if you are not sure if you can do it at the first time. We did it a lot of times in the past so we can do it like that XD

 El escudo, hicimos la base más pequeña de lo que será pues la reforzaremos en su parte de abajo con paneles de madera posteriormente para facilitar su sujeción a la mano y a los enganches con posterioridad.
En la foto de abajo se ve como medimos si la medida es la que deseábamos, la de una rodela, y si, va bien =^^=

The shield, we did it a lil more little than we wanted because in the next day we will do a base of wood so we can do easily the hook fo the shield for my arm.

Antes de comenzar a cortar, introducimos en la espuma, con movimientos circulares y con cuidado de no partirlo, en la espada, el tubo de aluminio. ¿Por qué? Pues para darle un esqueleto más rígido y asegurarnos de su estabilidad. Podría ser cualquier tubo o palo, pero nosotros teníamos eso por ahí así que lo usamos.

Y ya luego comenzó el trabajo de recortar la espuma con cúter y de darle forma. La espuma floras es increíblemente fácil de cortar y de manejar así que es un trabajo de talla muy agradecido y muy divertido, pero tener cuidado que es fácil cortar demasiado!! ^o^ Es un Hiromi-consejo

The we  inserted the aluminium tube in the floricel of the sword. Why? ´cause we wanted a stronger skeleton for the sword. You can use whatever you want but we had the aluminium tube so we use that.

And we began to cut the floricel with the cutters tryng to do the perfect form. You have to think that altought Floricel is a material super easy to cut and to use you have to take care of the form of the weapons, it´s too easy to cut so you can do a mistake!! ^o^ Hiromi-advice

No sólo hay que cortar las piezas sino que añadimos relieves tal y como aparecen en las armas, y recordar que hay que tallar las piezas para darle las formas adecuadas como veis en las fotos de abajo, con un especial énfasis en los detalles que luego se pegarán.

You have to sculp the pieces, not only to cut them, and we did the part of the weapons which are in differents  reliefs too.

La espuma floral tiene una superficie porosa que debe ser endurecida, para ello usamos cola blanca, con dicha cola también puedes pegar los relieves unos con otros, es muy cómodo. 

Recordar que hay que darle varias capas de cola blanca, sin aguar, para que coja algo de consistencia y no sea tan blanco, al menos dos.

Tarda en secar pero una vez seco se vuelve duro y resistente y ya estaría listo para pasar a la fase siguiente!

The Floricel has porous surface and you have to do it stronger, so we used the white glue, withouth water, for that. And thanks to the white glue you can do that the reliefs stick together =^^=

You have to put white glue at least two times.

When all is dry and stronger the pieces are ready to the next stage!!

El secado necesita bastantes horas, así que tener paciencia y tener en cuenta que tendréis que hacerlo en días separados seguramente.

You have to wait till it´s dry, so don´t worry if it´s take because the white glue in this porose surface takes their time XD

Con este último paso hemos completado la fase 1!!! Y ahora estamos listo para darle una mayor dureza, incluso, hacerlo uniforme y dejarlo listo para pintar!!

Peeeeeeeeeeero eso será la próxima semana! Iremos contando el proceso en cada etapa tal cual lo vayamos haciendo!! =^^=
